CET-Karnataka 2022 Clashes With NEST, Applications Started

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has decided to conduct its State Level Common Entrance Test (CET-K) 2022 starting from 16 Jun 2022. The application process for the same has been started on 18 April. 


Courses offered 

(i) B.Tech (Including Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Agriculture Engineering)

(ii) B.Arch 

(iii) B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Hons) Sericulture, B.Sc (Hons) Horticulture, B.Sc (Hons) Forestry, B.F.Sc (Fisheries), B.Sc. (Hons) Agri Business Management 

(iv) Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V. Sc. & A.H.)


Domicile : Candidates who satisfied one of the 15 specified clauses / eligibility criteria are eligible for selection / allotment of government seats. 


Key dates for CET-K

Test date (Bio & Maths as applicable) : 16 Jun 2022

Test date (Phy and Chem) : 17 Jun 2022

Kannada language test (select candidates) : 18 Jun 2022

Last date to apply : 5 May 2022


Entrance exams clashing with CET-K : Please note that Kannada Language Test of CET-K (scheduled on 18 Jun) has date clash with NEST (18 Jun) and NCHM-JEE (18 Jun).

 


CET-K pattern

The question papers of the Common Entrance Test will be based on the First and Second PUC syllabi prescribed by the Department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka State.

There will be 4 papers of 1 hour 20 minutes each for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology in independent sessions.

Additionally, there will be a 1 hour Kannada language test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates (conducted at select test centres).
